The L9 Sud metro line connects the airport terminals with the city, using a special airport fare. Cheap and reliable, though it needs a change to reach the very centre.
A frequent express coach between both terminals and central squares, faster than the metro to the core and good value. Buy at the machine or online and keep your ticket.
Metered black-and-yellow taxis from the rank add a fixed airport supplement. Best for groups or heavy luggage. Use only the official rank, never a driver approaching you inside.
A clean, cheap and easy network covering the whole city, with clear maps and frequent trains. The best way to get around, though watch for pickpockets on busy lines.

Petty theft is common in tourist areas and on the metro, though it is rarely violent. Keep valuables in a zipped front pocket or cross-body bag, avoid back pockets, and stay alert in crowds and on the beach.
Locals eat late, with lunch around 2pm and dinner often from 9pm onward. Many kitchens do not open for dinner until 8pm or later, so plan around the Spanish schedule.
