Bali is Indonesia's most famous island, a tropical destination known for its Hindu temples, emerald rice terraces, surf beaches and warm, welcoming culture. It is not a single city but a whole island, from the cliff temples and beach clubs of the south around Uluwatu and Seminyak, to the arts town of Ubud among the rice fields, and the volcanoes and waterfalls of the interior.
