The main way to reach town from AlUla International Airport, since there is no public transport link. Book through an app where possible and confirm the price before departing.
AlUla is roughly a five-hour drive from Medina on a well-maintained desert highway, a popular option for visitors extending a trip from the holy city. A rental car also gives you the flexibility AlUla's spread-out sights reward.
